We are looking for a motivated procurement specialist to manage our company\'s procurement activities. The procurement specialist\'s responsibilities included sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance. The procurement specialist will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owner of procurement process and vendor management process end to end, i.e : managing from getting quotations or proposals from vendors, to contract or quotation assessment, creation of new vendor in PCCW system, raising of PR/PO to purchase vendor products/services until payment to vendor upon delivery of products / services.
  • Candidate will be trained to use the EKP system where all procurement are recorded.
  • Experience in managing the vendor management and assessment SOPs for ISO compliance purposes
  • Be the point of focal of the procurement and payment processes for PCCW Solutions Insys Pte Ltd end to end.
  • Be the point of focal for compliance process, Vendor Management SOP and vendor assessment logs.
  • This includes triggering procurement and payment workflows in PCCW systems; request for quotations from vendors, vendor assessment during vendor selection; review of contract terms such as payment terms for all new or renewal contracts that PCCW Solutions Insys Pte Ltd need to sign.
Job Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills.
