Job Description


JOB OVERVIEW This position reports to the Operations Manager and supports all procurement activities for all departments, including our overseas offices. Ability to interface with all levels of staff and suppliers and to work effectively for best outcome in the procurement process

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key Activities:

  • Administering procurement and logistics processes
  • Building strong relationship with suppliers/vendors to ensure optimal support
  • Preparing and processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and maintain documentations for materials acquisition
  • Co-ordinating and assist in the purchase of all project work materials identified by the project team
  • Managing suppliers’/vendors’ delivery and performance to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Managing cost savings/reduction initiatives related to both local and overseas projects
  • Keeping track of inventory level
  • Assisting in administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education:
  • Minimum ITE Diploma in Business and/or Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience in procurement, logistics or materials handling or equivalent preferred
Technical Skills and Knowledge: 1. Procurement and logistics administration 2. Engage suppliers and vendor for RFQ 3. Participate in operations meeting and communicate effectively with employees from different departments 4. Knowledge in online cloud systems 5. Inventory control and management
