DESIGNATION : Product Design Lead (Loyalty)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership, initiative and direction in design for the design team by adopting system thinking approach
Manage and develop a team of designers. The responsibilities involve setting clear goals, managing project loads and allocating designers accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met and setting up team members for overall success.
Develop best practices in design for ensuring a high bar of quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, user research to ensure a smooth product development process.
Recruit new designers and actively participate in the hiring process.
Roll up your sleeves and contribute as a designer when necessary.
Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.
Problem framing with cross functional teams to help prioritise work with Business and Product team
Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside their core product team in order to collaborate effectively for a designed experiences
Be a customer Champion
Be a change agent
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital design
2+ years industry experience in a people management role on a Design team
Experience designing and building mobile applications
Experience in working with business and product lead on influencing product strategy and vision
Have knowledge how rewards mechanics and business work and past experience in leading loyalty or growth related products
A portfolio featuring interaction and visual design work
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end experience design
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
OTHER INFORMATION
Experience in facilitating requirements, design thinking workshops and design sprints
Experience in running user research from usability testing to contextual inquiry interviews
Experience in working both in a product and enterprise is a bonus
A portfolio of work that contains examples of Interaction Design and Visual Systems Development for digital applications from mobile app to websites
