As part of the Customer Experience (CX) & Design team within the bank, the Product Designer will be expected to design products and services that integrate both Client and Employee Experiences together -- which are now the driving forces of our business that creates a sustainable competitive advantage.

About the BOS Design Team

Just over a year old, the BOS CX & Design team is building a foundation of key experiences across a suite of different platforms, moving towards treating design solutions as robust yet beautiful platforms for users.

Throughout the design process -- from creating user flows and wireframes to prototypes -- you'll envision how people interact with the products and make the concept land in reality.

The BOS CX & Design team has multiple sub-teams including:

• Product Design
• User Research (Qualitative & Quantitative)
• Content Strategy
• Design Standards
• Design Ops
• Marketing & Communication

This role is for the Product Design team. While we collaborate with other team members, we also work closely with the product team and developers. Together, we move fast to make our vision for the products and experience come true.

Who we're looking for

As a Product Designer, you will rely on your knowledge of UX, UI and Information Architecture skills to convert complex functions and requirements into practical, intuitive, flows with the beautiful design language that users will love to use.

You are passionate about product design, capable of resolving daily challenges or untangling complex problems into simple concepts and make them come true. Our team projects range from BAU experience design support, to revamping projects or starting new ones.

User experience is one of the key factors leading our products to be successful. We do our best to learn and digest user's needs and benchmark best practices across industries. Each feature is designed to align to the best, not just limited to the banking industry.

What your week might look like

• Contribute to the core design experience created for internal banking platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and multiple stakeholders to understand the requirements, capabilities and generate solutions.
• Run the project from end-to-end, present solutions in different stages of design: user journey mapping, low / high fidelity wireframes, prototypes.
• Design adaptive solutions to mobile, tablet, and desktop versions.
• Conduct rapid testing with the research team to improve design solutions swiftly.

Qualifications

Experience and skills we'd love you to have

• Clear verbal communicator with the ability to effectively present your work to both design and non-design audiences (e.g. business, technology).
• Proficient at solving business problems by facilitating a user-centric design process.
• Adept at a broad range of UX design and implementation tools (Figma, Adobe CS, Invision etc.)
• Sketching, visual thinking and storytelling skills
• Strong online portfolio featuring design samples
• BS/BA in Design, HCI, Cog Science or related field
• Solid grasp of web and native app design principles and a basic understanding of front-end technologies (e.g. ReAct, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)

Bonus points

• You actively contribute to the UX community
• You have previous experience in private banking and wealth management
• You have passion projects you work on for fun in your free time
