Your role within the team

We are looking for a Product Development Manager for Asia who will lead Swisse product development for Asia markets.

Key responsibilities include

Lead the Product development stream for new and existing product development within the Asia innovation pipeline Develop clear strategic alignment for the Asia innovation plans and support timely execution at scale Collaborate with our Marketing and Science teams, along with your ideas and insights contribution, to enable concept ideation and smart formulation decisions Work closely with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with the contract manufacturers (CMs) and ingredient suppliers, ensuring projects move along at pace Establish close connection with product development team across the regions and act as Asia's communication hub for updates on key projects' development Explore trending ingredients, format and packaging technologies to feed innovation funnel based on Asia consumers' needs Input into new processes and ways of working to help us build a world class product development function

Desired Skills and Experience

To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:


Tertiary qualifications in Pharmaceutical sciences, Formulation chemistry, Health, Life and/or Applied sciences Minimum 5 years' experience in the new product development of dietary supplements and/or nutrition industry in Asia Good understanding of regulatory environment across Asia and experience in managing the varying requirements to design products with potential to scale across multiple markets Experience in managing new product development process - from concept, brief creation, formula development to launch Ability to critically evaluate raw materials and experience in assessing specifications and samples for suitability of use Experience working with contract manufacturers and ingredient suppliers Exceptional communication skills in English. Knowledge of another Asia language highly preferred Dynamic, organized and able to manage multiple projects effectively Team-player with ability to build strong working relationships cross-functionally, internally and externally Willing to travel as required Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager*
