Job Description

My client, a chemical distributor MNC is seeking for a Product Manager to join their Singapore Team.

Product Manager, Asia | Permanent | Singapore

Main duties & Responsibilities:

  • To foster new/existing relationships for major suppliers & customers.
  • To build and grow the APAC market share for solvents and resins business.
  • Maintain contact with buyers, sellers and facilitate distribution business with regional offices.
  • Take charge of APAC region margin & risk management responsibilities.
  • Formulate sourcing & marketing strategies for long term development of business.
  • Undertake partner and plant visits for deeper understanding of business and partners.
Candidate's profile:
  • Bachelors in chemistry / Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in solvents and resins regional distribution preferred
  • Experience with distribution-selling to coatings and constructions markets within Asia is highly advantageous
  • Expertise in solvents and resins value chain and product supply chains across Asia
  • Expertise in Coatings & Construction end markets in Asia
  • Strong business acumen of capital cost, product costing/pricing strategies and credit management.
  • Comfortable with travelling within Asia
