Key Responsibilities

Platform Design and Architecture:

Lead the design and architecture of the data platform including third-party & inhouse platforms, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable solutions.

Data Integration and ETL Processes:

Oversee the development and maintenance of robust data integration and ETL processes.

Ensure seamless data flow between different systems and sources.

Platform Optimisation and Performance:

Implement and maintain best practices for data storage, retrieval, and processing to optimize platform performance.

Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.

Data Governance and Security:

Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, accuracy.

Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data within the data platform.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide scalable solutions.

Communicate platform updates, changes, and improvements to relevant stakeholders.

Vendor Management:

Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors providing data platform solutions.

Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to data platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in data related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.

Proven experience (3 years+) in data platform management, including design, implementation, and optimization.

In-depth knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and data integration.

Familiarity with data security, governance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
