Position Purpose

The purpose of the position is to support the growth of Global Trade Solutions business in APAC by equipping it with relevant product and channel solutions, and managing their evolution.

The position applies primarily to Supply Chain, with possibility to touch Traditional Trade or transversal topics as well.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
  • Product Investment, Design and Development
  • Prioritize & manage the investment roadmap with focus on APAC sites and clients\' relevance
  • Collate, produce and support business case for approval
  • Prepare business requirements in collaboration with relevant Sales, Operations and IT teams
  • Review functional specifications
  • Co-ordinate and guide IT development teams to deliver on time and with the expected deliveries
  • Oversee and validate various testing stages
  • Contribute to post-delivery enhancements and functional defect resolution
  • Client Implementation and customizations
  • Contribute to the definition, design and validation of customized solutions to answer to special client needs beyond the established product or channel features
  • Evaluate, document and ensure sustainability / long-term scenario of such customizations
  • If necessary on specific cases, where there is clear benefit, ability to take up fully or partially the role of Implementation Manager.
  • Product Review
  • Perform periodic review of our product to ensure its competitiveness and relevance
  • Document local product solutions and best practices with an objective to standardize and replicate
  • Continuously contribute to operation / business efficiency initiatives
  • 3rd party platforms, network and consortiums
  • Actively connect to other players in the market to contribute to origination
  • Drive and / or contribute to the on-boarding of such partners and solutions
Contributions
  • Commercialization
  • Communicate on upcoming roadmap events, both for internal and external purpose, and both on regular (through committees and established governance) and ad-hoc (e.g. one-off event or visit) basis
  • Prepare internal & external product marketing documents, and maintain a repository
  • Engage with respective legal, finance & compliance teams on legal/regulatory requirements
  • Manage New Product Approvals process (NAC/ TAC)
  • Train Sales, Implementation and Client Service teams
  • Prepare and maintain implementation materials
  • Track and drive product and feature utilization through engagement with Sales or sponsor teams
  • Track & report on KPIs identified as part of the commercialization plan
  • Participate in client deals/RFP to provide product related inputs
  • Provide support to Sales, Implementation & Client Service teams on product related aspects
  • Community
  • Contribute to the expansion of the Supply Chain community in APAC by sharing knowledge with various teams in business and functions including beyond the GTS scope
Permanent Control Aspects
  • Ensure that products, channels or customizations offered to our clients are fully approved and compliant and do not put the bank at risk
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
  • Strong domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management and / or Traditional Trade Finance
  • Client focus and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • 5 years of digital working experience, preferably in financial industry
  • Basic knowledge and understanding about Software Delivery Lifecycle
Specific Qualifications (if required)
  • Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance or
  • Bachelor degree in Digital/ technology
