With the expansion of business, our Operating Room Solutions (ORS) Business Area has a new opening for a PRODUCT MANAGER (SEA) based in Singapore to join the dynamic team.
The Product Manager plays an important role in supporting the implementation and driving product strategies/plans within the (ORS) portfolio to maximise market share and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in collaboration with the ORS Sales & Marketing Team to ensure we deliver marketing messages consistently and effectively to our customers.
  • To ensure sales force is best equipped in terms of:
Delivery of customer solutions ORS marketing tools ORS product information and knowledge
  • To manage the ORS & Gloves product assortment to maximise profitability and review short, medium and long range goals for specific products/product groups.
  • Website and social media campaign development and tracking to evaluate results.
  • Conducts competitor product analysis and localised customer insights to better understand the needs of our target audience.
  • Develops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organisations and institutions in collaboration with Business Manager & Marketing Manager.
  • Leads Professional Education activities and other customer engagement opportunities.
  • Ongoing review of SEA product assortment for optimal, profitable range
  • Implementing product related activities to stimulate profitable revenue growth
  • Co-ordinate and manage product life cycle in collaboration with BM, Sales team & Marketing Manager

Business processes and market relevance
  • Oversees communication of changes to products, so that these changes minimise disruption and inconvenience to customers and distributor partners
  • Assess the market for product/solution opportunities to ensure customer needs are met
  • Regular review of cost, price, GP to maintain profitable revenue stream
  • Own specific projects from a marketing perspective, aiming at generating profitable growth
  • Part-take in pricing reviews and strategy development
  • Collaborate with RA/QA and Supply Chain
  • Maintenance of competitive data and maintain market share intel
  • Support sales team with pre-tender activity and tender submissions and liaisons with APAC/Global teams Manage product procedure tray portfolio; backorders, temporary deletion/substitutions to avoid back orders

Communication & customer interactions
  • Support co-ordination of customer events, external conferences and trade shows
  • Active field presence for support with sales team for clinical support and implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Establishment of key customer contacts
  • Branding of Mölnlycke as an innovative organisation in the medical device industry

Tools & support
  • Active stakeholder in the development of local Professional Education
  • Initiate and assist in developing and implementing promotional material
  • Super user of relevant marketing tools & sales support
  • Manage and deliver product-related training for the sales team

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
  • University degree; marketing or business
  • 5 years product/marketing management in medical devices preferred
  • KOL development experience
  • Strong commercial background with business acumen mindset
  • Digital marketing experience an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills
  • Proficient training capabilities (e.g. Cert IV or TTT)
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Some SAP knowledge preferred
