About the Team The Enterprise Privacy team protects users on our platform/business by promoting privacy by design we design architectures that treat user data respectfully, with transparency, and in line with reasonable practices. Data privacy engineering is a new technological territory that hasn't been well defined in our industry by joining the team, you will have chance to refine the data privacy framework, use advanced privacy technology, and make a big impact on Bytedance and our community. Responsibilities - Responsible for product planning and design for privacy and data protection of enterprise-level, cooperate with product solutions, privacy program managers, and engineers, transform privacy compliance requirements into platform basic capabilities and abstract into standard tool products, establish and promote business privacy protection processes and product systems, and ensure risk convergence and plan implementation - Timely respond to the needs of product privacy, regulatory compliance and user privacy protection, continuously adjust and improve the existing compliance governance effect and security strategy according to changes in the internal and external environment, and systematize the core capabilities of user privacy protection - Design and implement innovative solutions for data lifecycle privacy protection, and continuously optimize products based on actual needs - Lead the development and implementation of Roadmap, product impact assessment and solution design, internal process compliance, business data security construction, etc. As well as responsible for designing and driving the development of automated tools for data security and privacy protection - Regularly conduct product market analysis and competitor analysis, and formulate corresponding product strategies participate in product operation and promotion, and continuously promote product optimization through effect analysis - Respond to compliance needs in a timely manner, continuously adjust and improve the existing compliance governance effects and strategies according to changes in the internal and external environment, and systematize the core technical capabilities of compliance Qualifications - 5 + years of product manager experience, with excellent product design skills and at least 3 + years of privacy or security related experience - Understand and be good at using Axure , sketch, Figma and other software for prototyping and image processing - Quick thinking, good teamwork skills, communication skills, self-motivation - Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines. - Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to synthe and communicate complex concepts and analyses in easy to understand ways. - BS in Computer Science or technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience. Preferred Qualifications - Certified by CIPT, CIPM, CIPP, etc. is preferred - In-depth understanding of compliance requirements in overseas countries, abstracted into product requirements, combined with advanced technology in the industry, transformed into high-quality, universal standard tools, data platform product solutions, formulated product matrix and planned Roadmap - Familiar with privacy/data protection solutions and privacy preserving technology(or PET) is preferred ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
