DESIGNATION : [LG Electronics] Product Manager (Korean Speaking)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, development and lifecycle management for selected Home Appliance Category
Manage SKU lifecycle from introduction to phase-out, ensuring timely product transitions.
Collaborate with HQ to develop 3 year product roadmap in line with market trends, consumer needs and long term business objectives
Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales and supporting teams.
Manage channel programs, retail initiatives, and post-launch performance evaluation.
Analyze profit and loss (P&L) and drive profitability for Home Appliance Category
Conduct pricing and positioning analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability
Plan and execute impactful and timely promotions to improve sell out
Set up monthly promotion and allocate expenses accordingly. Ensure accurate and obtain timely approval for sale programs.
Manage gift redemption program by forecasting and procuring gifts and working closely with redemption center to ensure adequate inventory.
Lead ongoing analysis of competitive landscape to identify market trends, assess performance and conduct regular benchmarks against competitors
Develop strong understanding of assigned product category, and translate consumer insights, market research and competitive analysis into actionable plans
Collaborate with Sales and DP to forecast sell-in, sell-out, reduce aging inventory, and manage WOS
Collaborate with sales team to drive revenue through planned promotions and demand planning for individual retailers
Plan and coordinate store renovations, activities, and POP displays to enhance customer experience, increase in-store display share and product engagement
Build close working relationship with all stakeholders (Trade Marketing, Demand Planner, Customer Service, and Finance team) to manage day to day operations smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to ensure all ATL & BTL collaterals, POSM, samples meant for the launch are well-prepared and delivered accordingly for maximum launch impact.
Support field sales teams with product training and assist on any ad-hoc escalations
Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Management / Marketing
+ Minimum 3 years of Experience in product management/marketing/business
+ Proficient English ; Korean language skills is a plus
+ Ability to work independently and effectively in global and virtual teams
+ Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Good proven track of Sales & Marketing
