Job Description

Principal Responsibilities:

• Support product creation/development by:

• researching customer segments and demands;
• producing good quality product market intel/comparison;
• gathering feedback through marketing surveys, regular focus group with partners/agency group, internal stakeholders and reinsurers;
• ensuring the product design comply with the MAS, LIA

• Support product delivery by:

• doing documentation of Product Specs and working with various departments to submit system requirements;
• preparing point-of-sales documents and ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements;
• collaborating with the project management team to agree on product development and launch timelines;
• collaborating with marketing, digital and training teams to create marketing collaterals, training slides and other sales support tools;
• supporting in product related campaign in collaboration with the marketing and distribution teams;
• preparing product approval document for local as well as group office in a timely manner;
• performing UAT for the relevant systems to support the product launch;
• support system migration related user requirements and UAT;
• performing product post-launch review (including sales performance, feedback from the ground etc) which aligned with the bank standard guideline/requirements;
• Provide sales support and handle enquiries from distribution channels or internal stakeholders in matters related to products.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of relevant product development experience in life insurance industry. An in-depth knowledge of life insurance market and products in Singapore will be advantageous;
• Strong product development background and good knowledge in insurance;
• Strong business acumen and communication skill, with proven ability to influence and work with people from different business functions;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• A positive, enthusiastic, committed and \'can do\' attitude team player;
