The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Align to the Group Strategy on Loss of Data risk.
  • Lead and drive the implementation of the Consumer, Private and Wealth and Business Banking Business (CPBB) Payment Card Data (PCD) Protection program journey.
  • Primary point of contact for PCD Protection control implementation in assigned CPBB markets.
  • Support in PCD risk buydown in CPBB markets.
  • Support in PCI DSS compliance for Regulatory mandated CPBB markets.
  • Analyse and identify card related activities / processes and both in-country and group applications where PCD protection is required.
  • Work with the respective process teams to generate relevant process flows and data flow diagrams (DFD) and control solutioning around it.
  • Work with Solutioning and Application team to derive appropriate PCD protection controls i.e Masking, Tokenisation, Automation or Information Cyber Security (ICS) controls where applicable.
  • Liaise and obtain sign-off with respective process owners on the required change including both process and system changes.
  • Creating and maintaining a prioritised Product Backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear.
  • Clearly communicating priorities, objectives/goals, mission and acceptance criteria to the Agile Delivery Team.
  • Ensuring the Agile Delivery Team members understand items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
  • Tracking user stories deliverables. Coordinating with users to support UAT, UVT and go-live.
  • Ensuring Project deliverables are of the desired quality and have appropriate endorsements/ sign-offs.
  • Manage project allocated budget.
  • Manage project artefacts and support in risk buydown and audit activities.
  • Transitioning and hand over to BAU.
  • Owning the review of Benefits over the lifecycle
People & Talent
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
Risk Management
  • Drive the implementation of the PCD Protection programme in CPBB markets. This would include risk assessment, definition and implementation of controls as guided by the programme and be responsible to produce and maintain PCD residual risk buydown for CPBB markets.
  • Maintain oversight and visibility into the continued effectiveness and assurance of controls that have been implemented in the markets and how these interplay with the Loss of Data risk metrics.
Governance
  • Build visibility with the key stakeholders, on the progress and areas of support / challenge of the PCD programs via the relevant forums (e.g. Refinement Forums, Regional ICS and PCD Working Groups etc).
  • Be the CPBB subject matter expert regarding the PCD Protection execution journey.
  • Ensuring that all submissions to committees are of the right quality and are timely.
  • Communicating progress outside the core Agile Delivery Team including reporting RAG status to the relevant governance forums.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • University graduate with solid experience in the banking industry, exposure of key positions in Project Management, Business Process Management, Change Management and/or Management Consulting; with experience in a project management role or equivalent capacity
  • 10+ years of experience in Banking and Financial services with relevant experience in the Retail/CPBB business and/or Information and Cyber Security programs.
  • Strong knowledge of CPBB related products and operations will be preferred.
  • Core knowledge and awareness of Cyber Security Frameworks and Information Security principles will be necessary.
  • Sound understanding of Project Management, Business Process Management, or Change Management
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Ability to articulate gross and residual risk with specific ability to clearly, concisely and accurately communicate complex technology and process risk to non-technical stakeholders in a lucid way.
  • Proven ability to lead highly complex, global activities through influence and credibility rather than command and control.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organization including senior leadership teams, in influencing key decisions taken in the business and in support teams.
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to initiate and successfully drive programs and projects to completion with little or no management supervision.
  • Ability to both assess strategic priorities and to focus on detailed aspects of a function in order to drive effective delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritise, make decisions, and work to tight timeframes.
One or more of the following certifications while not mandatory, will be an advantage:
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • SANS Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
  • Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Understanding of the Cyber landscape and ICS Controls within the CPBB environment
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Proven ability to lead highly complex, global, pan-bank, multi-year programmes by driving collaboration and participation by functions, Regions and countries.
  • Extensive change and programme management experience, ideally gained in the financial industry
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate level ensuring open cooperative environment. Be a Team player.
