Role Overview
The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the sales efforts within assigned territories to meet or exceed annual sales quotas. This role involves initiating and managing the entire sales cycle--from prospecting and conducting sales presentations to closing deals by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions. This role is also expected to maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and timely issue resolution.
What will you be doing?
Meets or exceeds established annual sales quota.
Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling of appointments, conduct sales presentations, understanding business needs, develop proposals and sales closure.
Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing additional solutions and services and /or develop new and innovative applications.
Closes sales by building rapport with potential customers, expounding on the benefits of BU solutions and service capabilities; overcoming objection, etc.
Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and feedback from end users
Accountable for customer satisfaction and providing high quality service
Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts
Be familiar with competitors' strategies and product features/benefits and contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and feedback from end users
Provide feedback on market information with regards to competitors activities, product pricing, SWOT in reports and sales meetings.
Good territorial and sales management of all assigned accounts
Complete mandatory compliance training by the defined dates as required
Training and review on all new guidelines, SOPs and revised version of Code as issued.
What will you need to be successful?
3 years sales experience in Medical Devices
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
Knowledge of clinical segment / product platform preferred - Desirable
Sales task capability/experience - forecasting, pricing, product development, positioning, promotion, planning, portfolio management, surgeon advisory panel - Desirable
