This position is responsible for introducing and implementing innovative, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions (incl. technology) to deliver robust manufacturing processes and distribution of healthy products for future-ready PT across product lifecycle.The PTT MSAT Scientific Expert provides technical leadership and implements solutions across PT manufacturing and distribution networks. Responsibilities are generally grouped into two main focus areas: technical product lifecycle and/or new technology implementation, although integration and capability to flow across the two focus areas are often required for robust technical solution implementations.The OpportunityYou will participate and/or lead cross PT networked teams.You will contribute and drive technology process initiatives throughout the product life cycle.You will drive technology and process improvement initiatives.You will contribute to health authority requests and audits.Deliver on projects or initiatives relevant to technical product lifecycle, technical standardization, and/or new technology per focus areas.You will drive identification of innovative, sustainable, efficient manufacturing to enable delivery of the current and future product portfolio.Who you are:You will hold a degree in engineering or life science with 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and biologics (large molecule) drug substance process development, operations/manufacturing, or related experience.You will have in-depth knowledge of biologics, drug substance or manufacturing.You are an innovative leader, mentor, collaborator and problem solver.You create and deliver clear communications by explaining complex information in a straightforward manner.You will be able to travel 20% of the time.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
