THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU HERE!Be part of our diverse and inclusive team.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning, development and production delivery of ArtScience Museumxe2x80x99s public programmes and learning offers across Public Programmes and Education teams, which include symposia and talks, artist-led performances and installations, exhibition companion programmes, youth-directed workshops as well as collaborative showcases organised throughout the year.Develop and manage project timelines, production schedules and logistical plans, ensuring that every aspect of the museumxe2x80x99s commitment to the programme stays on track.Plan and coordinate full-cycle production and logistics for public programmes, such as scoping technical and production requirements, scheduling programming spaces, applying for permits and licenses, leading production briefings, coordinating videography and photography, and arranging for travel/hospitality for artists and speakers.Conduct site walks, venue set-up, deployment and load-out, ensuring safe working conditions in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations.Act as a point person between artists, collaborators, vendors and the museum, and support communications pertaining to the scope of work and their engagement.Working closely with team members from Exhibitions, Visitor Experience, Museum Services, Business & Innovation, Security, Facilities, MICE, Marketing and Communications to ensure smooth operations and delivery of public programmes and adherence to protocols.Assist with programming administration and post-event evaluation, including managing audience databases and online ticketing and registration as well as collating feedback and producing reports from resulting data for analysis.Assist with record keeping and organise documentation of working documents, content files, audio-visual materials, mailing lists, etc.Liaise on write-ups and creative assets for marketing, social media and other promotional platforms.Deputise for Curator, Public Programmes when required and support other projects and duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation & CertificationDiploma or Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in arts management or similar relevant qualification preferredExperienceMinimum two years of experience in the museum, arts and/or cultural sector programming for a range of audienceOther PrerequisitesHighly motivated, independent and organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing schedules and handle a range of responsibilities with excellent attention to detail.Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in responding to new ways of working or applying problem-solving skills.Able to use good judgment and discretion and maintain a calm demeanor whilst working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, especially during live programming and education.Positive team player, able to work effectively and harmoniously with diverse teams.A confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English (an additional / second language would be an advantage) who is able to manage a variety of internal and external relationships and interactions.Understanding of budget management processes and experience in implementing programming evaluation.Competent in computer systems, word processing, spreadsheet and data management programmes.
