The Production and General Supervisor oversees day-to-day manufacturing processes, ensuring production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, and adheres to safety guidelines. This role involves supervising staff, managing production schedules, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

Lead, train, and manage production staff.


Assign tasks and monitor staff performance to meet production goals.


Conduct training and support staff in following safety protocols and operational best practices.

Production Planning:

Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules to meet targets.


Coordinate with departments (e.g., logistics, maintenance) for smooth production flow.


Ensure efficient resource allocation.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet quality standards.


Perform regular inspections and audits.


Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce adherence to safety regulations.


Conduct safety audits and address potential hazards.


Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee machinery maintenance and repair to minimize downtime.


Work with maintenance teams to schedule regular checks and repairs.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain production logs and reports.


Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates on production performance.

Inventory Management:

Monitor raw material inventory to avoid production delays.


Collaborate with inventory and purchasing teams for timely stock replenishment.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot production issues and resolve delays, defects, or equipment malfunctions.

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred in related fields like Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology).

Experience:

3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
