Overall responsibilities 1.1. Responsible to lead two teams of production operators/technicians to meet daily production targets, schedule and quality standards 1.2. Plan workflow on the production teams to achieve production targets 1.3. Draw up duty roster for operators/technicians; allocating work and authorize overtime which is justified by capacity planning and reporting 1.4. Motivate and guide the operators and technicians, maintain discipline and manage their performance appraisals 1.5. Responsible for the safety and security management of the production floor 1.6. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to the product, process and quality system 1.7. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system 1.8. Responsible to initiate the daily production scheduler meeting and attend the daily operations meeting 1.9. Guide operators/technicians to troubleshoot problems that may arise and liaise with Engineers to resolve issues 1.10. Assists Management in reviewing, analyzing, modifying, and implementing efficient and effective department processes, policies and procedures. 1.11. Communicate and coordinate with other departments (Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Warehouse) to deliver results in a timely and effective matter 4.10. Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement. 4.11. Any adhoc assignments or covering duties as assigned by General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Good Microsoft Access / Excel and PowerPoint skills

• At least 4-5 years’ relevant experience in overseeing production department in electronics manufacturing Industry

• Must have an eye for improvement to production efficiency and output

• Ability to work with people as well as independently and motivated to get things done

• Willingness to consider the welfare of production dept colleagues

• Knowledge of Bizsafe2 and workplace safety requirements will be advantageous

• Must be able to understand cable drawings, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

• Candidates who are familiar with the supply base for components of cables, harnesses, sheet metals and electro-mechanical assemblies will have stronger advantage
