Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the production department to manage, control and allocate manpower to support daily activities of the production operations
- Identify and implement areas for Kaizen continuous improvement
- Assure that production output, downtime, defects and spoilage targets are met
- Assure that the production processes comply with the specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all GMP, 5S, Safety and health standards are well maintained
- Enforce the overall cost control and cost saving measures
- Lead a team of preventive maintenance technicians for repariring and maintenance of production machines
- Perform engineering analysis to resolve customer complaint, machine breakdown and OEE
- Work closely with QA to investigate problems and perform root cause analysis to establish preventive or corrective actions
- Candidate should preferably possess a Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Brings along 2 year(s) of working experience within the manufacturing industry
- Prior experience in managing production line will be an added advantage
- Brings along knowledge in upholding Quality and EHS management system
