Scope of Work:

You will lead the work on some of the most popular consumer brands in the world, impacting the daily lives of nearly 2 billion people in the fastest growing region in the world. You will work for clients who not only care about success in the marketplace, but are passionate about the role of brands in helping bring about social change.

Expectations of a Production Manager

Pre Production

• Locations - To oversee the initial location scouting and manages any financial arrangements to secure locations.
• Shooting schedule - Work with the producers to make a shooting schedule that satisfies the scheduling restrictions of all cast and crew as well as location availability.
• Budget - Create a working budget that accounts for personnel, equipment, and locations.
• Crew hires - Work with the line producer to hire crews and contract with suppliers.
• Transportation - Coordinate all necessary transportation for the cast and crew for the duration of the filming schedule.

During Production - Oversee the schedule and budget they've drawn up to make sure everything goes according to plan. PMs responsibilities during the shoot include:

• Budget - account for any budgeting changes during production and keep the director, producers, and studio abreast of any deviations from the initial budget.
• Releases and permits - Responsible for making sure that all locations and cast have the prerequisite releases filed with the production office. Ensure that all necessary permitting has been taken care of for each respective location.
• Crew liaison - Liaise between local authorities and the crew. Ensures that all local law are being followed.
• Production report - The production manager completes a daily production report, which shows how the day's shooting went and reports any deviations from the master shooting schedule
• Do up all necessary PEs/POs for crew, locations, talents and help manage the final finance recon once production is complete.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in an agency and/or a production house
• Proficient in creation and management of production budgets
• A strong understanding of digital, print, content and broadcast production
• Detail oriented and solution driven with the ability to manage both agency and client expectations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
• Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
• After hours work and overnight traveling to shoots and post sessions required
• Naturally well organised and unfazed when working towards deadlines
