RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the overall production operation, ensure all activities are carried out in a safe, compliant and efficient manner, meeting all quality requirements. Support and execute Maintenance, Turnaround and project activities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the team leaders.
• Support training of all team members .
• Foster continuous improvement process (CIP) to optimize plant and administrative processes in all relevant areas

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent qualification
• Ability to plan and coordinate production and shift personnel
• Proficient in root cause analysis tools (fishbone, ABC, etc)
• Open minded towards team concept
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Safety and Environmental requirements
• Soft Skills such as: listening skills, body language, giving feedback, conflict management, delegation, understanding organizational culture and subculture, emotional intelligence, and ethical leadership.
• Basic chemical, fire and medical response skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
