Danfoss is in search of Production planner (for 14 months contract) responsible to Create Master Schedule by planning the customer demands with Customer Service and plant capacities with these requirements to ensure delivery performance. Coordinating the material supply to the product line assigned by the elaboration of a master production schedule. To make sure the correct raw materials get supplied on time for production to meet customer requirement. This candidate will report to Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Participate in SIOP, Create Master schedule for production, align and set priorities for resources across plant to maximize efficiency and material to ensure customer ship schedules on time.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, manufacturing and Purchasing.
• Review the Weekly Production Build / forecast and plan production with support of manufacturing team, Follow-up to assure production completion of work orders planned.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function and create/adhering to standard work.
• Actively participate in process improvement through Continuous Improvement Framework, kaizens and workshops. Analyze data to determine opportunities to decrease inventory and reduce costs through regular review of inventory planning parameters that includes min & max values, number of Kanban
• Participate in monthly cycle count Review and investigate excess stock, obsolescence and manage disposal along with Manufacturing team
• Actively contribute to Plant metrics on Customer OTD, cycle count accuracy and Inventory DOH

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor’s degree Or Diploma from an accredited institution required.
• Around 3 years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment in Production planning or Supply Chain
• Knowledge in SAP system would be advantageous
• The Planner must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple group (including Production, Customer Services, Finance, and Purchasing).
• Ability to work as a team or working independently under pressure and can work in cross culture, multiple diverse nationalities in matrix communications environment
