Production planner Job duties:-

Inputs shop orders into the production Schedule and prepare documents for order release to the shop floor.
Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirement.
Follows up with floor personnel to ensure the schedule is adhered to.
Manage inventory levels, schedules and availability of turn blanks for production.
Receives and reviews shop orders against current plan and work in process and liase with customer service department on completion date.
Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
Manage inventory level for drill bits and other tools.

Requirements:

Computer literacy in Excel is a plus
Candidates with experience in planning and in a production environment will have an advantage
Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in any field.
Required language(s): English, Chinese (in order to liaise with the English & Chinese speaking associates)
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
