Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the on time delivery and meeting the delivery requirements of our customers by planning the appropriate stock, production materials and production schedules as well and raw materials and components.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications At least Diploma / Degree in Production/ Engineering or Business/Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Periodic review of customers’ schedules and develop master production schedules accordingly.
• Review materials availability to meet customers’ requirement by planning material launch to production and raise purchase requisition to Procurement.
• Monitor part flow during the production process and coordinate with operations staff to schedule for the parts completion.
• Review work centres capacity and output rates of production.
• Monitor and identify delays in production flow and non-conformance materials.
• Work with operations and logistics staff in production and inventories discrepancies.
• Able to respond and communicate with overseas customers after official working hours.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  

• Preferably with at least 1 year experience as planner or production supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of planning process
• Proficiency with personal computer, specifically ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
• Demonstrate a flexible and “can do” approach to work.
