RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with Operations to set planned build dates and monitor performance to plan.
  • Ensure OTD and TAT targets are met for the respective engine type.
  • Participate in work scope management and technical assessment of selected engine shop visits to identify long TAT parts and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with IAE Network industrialization team to derive advance solutions to long lead time parts.
  • Work with the materials and operations teams to ensure materials are being sourced and kitted in a timely manner to meet module and engine planned build dates.
  • Implement production and overtime schedules with operations for manpower allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Participate in weekly EH/network parts escalation teleconference to gain resolution for critical parts.
  • Ensure material flow to achieve quality, and delivery targets.
  • Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture in the team. Assume roles in CORE and EH&S sub-committees.
  • Interface with various business functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance and HR to achieve cell goals and company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) involvements to improve efficiency of the process. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or any other related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant production planning and control experience in fast paced environments.
  • Effective communications and organizational skills to work in cross-functional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
  • Team-player with high standards of performance to achieve company goals.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office application e.g. MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of engine parts application is a plus.
  • Experience in Aerospace or Defense industries with basic engine gas turbine knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
