HOYA Technosurgical, is a subsidiary of HOYA Corporation, established in Tokyo, Japan in 2013, which has the origin of PENTAX medical business unit in 1974 arising from the merger of former PENTAX medical business unit & Japan Universal Technologies, Inc. HOYA Technosurgical will be setting up their first overseas plant in Singapore focusing on manufacturing, research & development and sale of Chromatography Media to pharmaceutical companies.

Reporting Relationship: Production Team Lead / Production Supervisor Main Purpose of Job: Collaborate with other Production Teams in setting up and operating the manufacturing plant to achieve future production targets, while ensuring high quality output.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Production & Operations

• Perform routine equipment cleaning, set-up, and basic maintenance
• Maintain work health and safety standards
• Maintain clean workstations and production floor
• Assist the Process Engineer in the development or testing of new products and/or processes. Ensure all production documents are updated and accurately captured
• Assist Production Supervisor and Production Team Lead in achieving daily production loading requirements through teamwork
• Maintain proper, accurate counts and complete production records
• Report all scrap
• Preparation of packaging products for shipment
• Be flexible when manpower rescheduling is done by the Production Supervisor,whenever necessary
• Willing to be trained and open to cross-training with other departments
• Other process related ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Production Supervisor and Production Team Lead

Essential Experience/Skills Education: Minimum completion of Higher NITECH education or above Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic Microsoft office skills for Excel and MS Words
• Detail-oriented and strong record-keeping skills
• Meticulous
• Able to multi-task
• Some technical knowledge and hands-on experience on machine operating methods and safety procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
