We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead a team of IT project managers in delivering regional projects. Your focus will be finding and building on inter-project dependencies and synergies that can increase value.


Key Qualifications


  • More than 7 years of proven experience in both program and project management.
  • You have experience influencing people in different functions across organizational boundaries, both internally and externally with vendors and other parties.
  • You are capable to demonstrate leadership qualities such as ability to resolve conflicts/issues and ability to work effectively amidst ambiguity.
  • You have excellent analytical social skills, including the solid ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and handle multiple, competing initiatives.
  • You possess data collection and analytical skills.
  • You possess general understanding in the areas of IT infrastructure (WAN, LAN, Internet) and system design.
  • You have a good understanding basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections, CAPEX, OPEX, MRC, OTC.
  • You are experienced in electrical and mechanical systems related to IT infrastructure (MEPIT)


Description


• Lead the Field Office Program that comprises 40+ individual build and renovation projects across APAC, maintaining situational awareness of high priority areas within the program. • Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fast-paced and large-scale environment with many inter-dependencies. • Govern projects between project managers, construction firms and Real Estate & Development incumbents to ensure timely and in-budget execution of activities against plans, and drive remedial actions when applicable. • Analyze program risks and strengths and propose plans for improvement. Look for best practices across the region and find ways to align and share. • Review infrastructure drawings, MEPIT services and specifications submitted by Design Consultants for utilities in support of IT structures at each design stage to ensure completeness and compliance with scope of work inside APAC. • Facilitate internal review, exception management, and escalation processes in support of defined project objectives. • Maintain overview and control of drawings, specifications, general contracts and schedules across all field office projects. • Assess and seek clarification of constructability during design of IT elements and network rooms and closets. This encompasses review of design submittals to be accompanied by technical responses in return comments to address design deficiencies. • Develop and/or augment tender and RFP requirements in relation to IT infrastructure. • Monitor estimates prepared by quality surveyors for cost control to analyse performance of vendors and contractors while coordinating with health and safety team to ensure compliance with local regulatory practices and fire safety imperatives in network closets. • Maintain awareness of industry trends, methodologies, tools and best practices in cost management. Be knowledgeable on local & international standards and codes such as ASHRAE, IEEE, and health and fire safety codes which have grown in importance across the region. • Traveling may be required
