Position Purpose

Digital Transformation is at the heart of our strategy. It applies at all levels of the IT Production organization and changes the way we operates.
For the businesses we support, this brings new customer experience and benefits such as new products and services, greater convenience, more choice, faster, lower price and a more secure environment. As pillars of our new way of working: Virtualization, Digital Services, Automation, Agility and Collaboration. The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for managing and coordinating programs and/or projects around the Customer & Services domain and in particular the “New Ways of Working” program (workspace of tomorrow, flexi-working, MS365, Digital Tools, e-com channels, new support model ...), as well as the "Global Monitoring" project (Migration of infrastructure/applications monitoring to Dynatrace/Observability/AIOps and decommission of ITRS Geneos). The successful candidate will lead the “mind-set” transformation of APAC IT production teams to agile approach. To achieve on this role, she/he will work in collaboration with other local, regional and global IT teams. She/he must possess strong Project Management, organizational skills, an eye for detail, have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, be at ease with any level of management, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, have a background in IT, and understand IT processes and procedures. The candidate will be based in Singapore or Hong Kong as part of a dynamic project team and will report to the Head of APAC Customer Project & Efficiency. Responsibilities The responsibilities include:
  • Organize the governance of the different initiatives under the above mentioned programs.
  • Collaborate and follow up with various IT teams regionally/globally to establish IT solutions and ensure quality & timely delivery of these solutions.
  • Develop good communication channels with Head Office teams in London/Paris and ability to influence global teams to deliver APAC specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to provide strategic solutions or to devise tactical solutions to business' needs in case of tight timelines.
  • Provide trainings to Business Users and/or IT teams before the functional project go-live and ensure that proper support documentation is made available on any new digital products & services offering.
  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Plan the program from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance (KPI) and determine the need for improvements.
  • Monitor actively the program progress, oversee/coordinate/drive the deployment across all the supported APAC Territories & Businesses.
  • Supervise all project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
  • Pre-empt and escalate any risks/issues to management/steering committees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
  • The candidate may be asked to follow other Program/Project if necessary.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale Transformation Programs and Digital Projects.
  • Digitally savvy program manager who is passionate about digital technologies and managing initiatives that create organizational change.
  • Ability to understand, explain, inovate and support change.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI or Elastic Search (ad libitum).
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS office and program management software (e.g. Basecamp, MS Project etc.).
  • A business acumen with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curious and able to find answers by him/herself.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking methodology is required.
  • Exposed to multi-cultural environment (SG, HK, JP, AU, FR, UK, IN, South East Asia, North Asia).
  • Open to learn and grow.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

  • Minimum tertiary education level – Must be a degree holder in IT or experienced in IT industry.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, including minimum 4 years in a Program/Project Manager role.
  • PMP / Scrum Master / Design Thinking / ITIL certification (ad libitum).
