As a Program Specialist I for Airport AGLCMS (Airport Airfield Ground Lighting Control and Monitoring System), you will be responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the AGLCMS at an airport. You will work closely with the Airport Operations team and various stakeholders to ensure the efficient functioning of the AGLCMS.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 System Monitoring and Control: Monitor the Airport AGLCMS to ensure that all lighting systems, including taxiway lights, runway lights, and approach lights, are operating effectively. Troubleshoot any system issues and take appropriate actions to rectify them.

\xc2\xb7 Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate with the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the AGLCMS equipment. Identify and report any defects or malfunctions promptly and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

\xc2\xb7 Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to the AGLCMS performance, including lighting schedules, power consumption, and fault logs. Generate reports and provide recommendations for system optimization and improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Prepare reports and present findings to management and stakeholders as required.

\xc2\xb7 Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Stay updated with relevant aviation regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to airfield lighting systems. Ensure that the AGLCMS is compliant with all safety and regulatory standards.

\xc2\xb7 Training and Support: Provide training and support to airport personnel on the operation and use of the AGLCMS. Conduct workshops or presentations to promote awareness and understanding of the system.

\xc2\xb7 Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including airport staff, air traffic control, and contractors, to coordinate activities related to the AGLCMS. Participate in meetings and discussions to address any concerns or requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancement, efficiency improvement, or cost savings. Propose and implement innovative solutions to optimize the performance of the AGLCMS.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in airport operations or airfield lighting systems is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of airfield lighting systems, including AGLCMS, runway lights, taxiway lights, and approach lights.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, control systems, and monitoring systems.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards related to airfield lighting systems is a plus.
