The Health & Wellbeing (Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes and initiatives which support the general NUS population, as well as specific employees who are exposed to acute mentally stressful events. As a Programme and Events Manager you will oversee implementing effective communications, branding & outreach efforts to promote the team and their initiatives. You will work with a team that is dynamic, fun and most of all, passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our people. The team believes in creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experience and unique perspectives.

& Abilities

Planning, conceptualising execution and support

  • Build brand followership, awareness, and engagement for the Health and Wellbeing Team\'s initiatives and programmes through running and creation of events, MICE and the support of programmes, with a main focus on the destigmatisation campaign executed from January to June.
  • Researching best practices and suggesting new ways to develop, improve and support Health and Wellbeing Team\'s event and MICE offerings - from logistics, user experience to event flow.
  • Researching, planning, supporting, curating and executing dynamic events and MICE.
  • Appointment, procurement and management of external vendors.
  • Innovate with new approaches to event management, logistics and production.
  • Monitor and analyse event performance metrics, create reports on key event metrics, and make recommendations to improve, optimise, develop and improve Health and Wellbeing Team\'s event and MICE offerings.
  • Customer service and incentive management
  • Training and programme support
Stakeholder Management
  • Work cross-functionally across teams such as the University Health Centre, NUS Care Unit and Office of Student Affairs to ensure alignment in co-run events
  • Coordinate with internal (eg. programmes team, admin team, etc) and external stakeholders (Office of Student Affairs, University Health Centre, NUS Care Unit, etc) for logistics, planning and execution of events
Desired Skills & Background
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, hospitality management, marketing, MICE or relevant fields
  • A minimum of 3 years\' experience in a similar role with the relevant programmes and events or MICE experience
  • Deep, well-demonstrated experience and knowledge of events conceptualising, logistics, curation and execution processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent project/event/MICE management, organisation and problem-solving skills with an eagle eye to details. Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to pivot quickly and be flexible when situation calls for it
  • Ability to see through macro and micro vision in the planning of events
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and implement projects involving cross-functional teams (eg. HR, Outreach Teams, Health & Safety, Health Centre)
  • A creative thinker and problem solver with the ability to create engaging event experience through events, MICE and programmes
  • A strong interest in wellbeing and mental health
