NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. Through our Active Ageing Centres, we engage the seniors within the clusters and support them by reaching out to understand their needs, curating programmes that cater to the needs of active seniors, and befriending isolated and vulnerable seniors. In this role as a Programme Associate, you will support the work of the AAC and assist the supervisor in fulfilling the objectives of the AAC and meeting the targets set by the management and funders through outreach activities to engage seniors. You will need to manage various stakeholders, including community partners, grassroots, and other national bodies, on programmes for Seniors. You shall also look out for vulnerable seniors and support their needs.
Plan and conduct seniors outreach activities to know our seniors in the assigned service boundary.
Conduct/support active ageing programmes suitable to our seniors and encourage active participation from seniors
Engage/Partner with our community partners and relevant government agencies to support their programmes for seniors
Promote NTUC Health services and programmes, from time to time. Where required, coordinate care and support services through internal referral or external agencies
Support any seniors outreach events and programmes that may happen after office hours and on weekends when needed
Carry out administrative functions such as data entry, record keeping and report submissions in a promptly and accurately
May require to perform counter duty and handle enquiries about promoting NTUC Health services and programmes.
Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x99A\xe2\x80\x99 level or Diploma. Fresh graduates will be considered.
Candidates with GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 level with some working experience will be considered
Genuine interest to engage our seniors in the community, such as parks, and coffee shops
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite Applications
Pleasant, proactive and highly accountable for the work assigned
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent service mindset to serve the senior community
Able to work independently and at the same time as a team player
OTHER INFORMATION Additional Advantageous Skills:
Good knowledge of various community services and support in the community setting will be an advantage
Ability to converse in local languages
The employee will require to work on a 5.5 work week (alternate Saturday mornings). Locations:
