About the Department


The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Job Responsibilities


L&D programme development and implementation
  • Work with Learning & Development team and partner with GTO team leaders to conduct workplace performance diagnosis and learning needs analysis.
  • Design training curriculum and curate content. Liaise with content specialists/subject matter experts in the development of learning programmes. Procure training vendors when needed.
  • Drive and manage the end-to-end implementation of functional training programmes, including classroom and e-learning courses for GTO teams, as well as tech sharing sessions, learning culture activities and on-the-job learning initiatives.
  • Leverage available technologies to deliver programme operations, oversees process governance, and ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Evaluate impact and effectiveness of learning programmes.
GTO programme management
  • Manage GTO talent pipeline programmes end-to-end. Initiatives include UOB Technology development programme, GTO internship programmes, work-study programmes with university/polytechnics, etc.
  • Help establish GTO academy and support projects of GTO academy as required.

Job Requirements


  • 8-10 years of relevant learning and development and/or programme management experience.
  • Understanding of technology and operational processes ideally in banking or financial services highly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive motivation across diverse teams and can deal with difficult conversations.
  • Owns and enhances workflows and processes, and delegated with clear accountabilities across the teams for delivery of outcomes.
  • Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills.
  • Passionate, comfortable with a fast-paced and fluid environment.
