Job Description

Job Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Architect with more than 10 years of working experience.
• Must possess a working knowledge in Revit for reviewing documents and making minor revisions as needed.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Teams, Newforma, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Preferably with experience handling US clients and/or projects.
• Must be willing to work office based - BGC

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, plan and review the work of 3-6 staff members. This includes the mentoring of staff on project teams.
• Develop architectural solutions based upon the concept design, and direction from the Project Manager and Project Designer.
• Apply the building code to architectural solutions.
• Coordinate the project development from design through construction documents with the Project Manager, Project Designer, and other team members.
• Become knowledgeable of and incorporate the client's graphic and production standards, procedures, and processes for the benefit of the project.
• Coordinate the project specifications with the Specification Writer.
• Understand and adhere to the project's contract requirements.
• Provide attention to detail at areas of higher risk or deemed critical for the success of the project.
• Communicate status of the work, project deadlines, phase completion, staffing needs and changes with project manager in a timely manner. This includes morale of the team, and the ability to forecast short term project needs.
• Perform internal page turns and quality reviews.
• Provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback to the staff working under your supervision regarding their performance and identify areas of improvement needed.
• Provide feedback to the Project Manager about performance of the team members under your supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
