Key Service Accountabilities: You will be responsible for cost control monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting on the given scale and frequency. Drive improvement in client satisfaction and deliver projects to the satisfaction of both the client and Jacobs, with respect to cost monitoring and reporting. Proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs/labour hours for projects and create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate cost status. Assist Project Manager in project set-up including creation of CDRS entries, creation of project code through AutoPAP. Assist Project Manager in creating variation orders for any deviation in scope, schedule, resourcing, and other factors that affects the project budget. Support sales team in creating a pricing build-up for new proposals. Track invoicing and payment collection from Client. Works with the Project Managers and Project Controls Managers to develop work processes, procedures, and implement effective cost control measures. Other Services Accountabilities: Ensure compliance to cost control monitoring and reporting requirements as mandated in the Project Delivery Workflow. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels of the organisation, to define and achieve mutual understanding of the scope of work. Manage overall projects and program cost controls and reporting function by supporting client management, updates, and presentations to all levels of management. Use analytical thinking ability to assist the project manager and or construction manager to develop accurate and timely estimate at completion on a monthly basis. Implementing and evaluating earned value on projects to track progress in home office and or field construction projects. Assist Project Manager in creating work breakdown structures that are best suited for the project. Assist Project Managers in resolving financial issues. Provide input for cost impact of engineering and project implementation techniques that are applied to the project. Control project time and expense input and forecast burn-rate. Understand the client requirements on project cost control, monitoring, and reporting. Support PMs in creating Purchase Requisitions for sub-consultants and vendors. Manage/track progress payments to external sub-consultants and vendors. Participate in project performance reviews, provide input on the commercial performance of the project, and follow through on action items resulting from the project review. Maintains electronic files of cost control monitoring tools and reporting files in the project document management system to make sure they are available during project audits. Participate in lessons-learnt and knowledge-sharing sessions to collate best practices and improvement opportunities for document management systems and procedures. Here’s What You’ll Need:
Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or other disciplines with relevant experience cost control monitoring and reporting, .
