Coordinate day-to-day activities on site between tunnelling crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and report delays, issues, and risks to the Project Manager.
Track project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (e.g. TBM safety, confined space work).
Prepare and maintain construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
Coordinate logistics such as muck removal, segment delivery, ventilation, and dewatering systems.
Liaise with geotechnical and structural engineers regarding site conditions and design compliance.
Manage inspection and testing schedules for concrete, waterproofing, ground support, etc.
Support in preparing progress reports for stakeholders or government agencies.
Organize and participate in coordination meetings and toolbox talks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or relevant experience).
More than 5 years of experience in tunnelling construction.
Previous involvement in large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., rail, metro, utility tunnels) is an asset.
Certifications: PMP, OSHA/CSCS, or tunnel-specific safety training may be required depending on location.
