Job Description

We are hiring a Project Coordinator (Electrical) on behalf of our client in the engineering and connectivity solutions (consultancy) sector. This role supports ongoing electrical/technical projects, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and ensures smooth execution from planning to site completion. Ideal for Diploma/Higher Nitec candidates in Electrical/Electronic Engineering who want to grow into project management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project coordination
• Track project schedules, progress, deliverables, and timelines
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of work and materials
• Assist in reviewing simple electrical drawings, wiring layouts, and technical specifications (training provided)
• Prepare and update project documentation, reports, minutes, and permits
• Conduct site visits to monitor work status, take photos, and provide updates
• Coordinate installation activities such as cabling, wiring, panel or equipment setups
• Follow up on work quality, compliance, and issue escalation
• Assist with procurement support (quotations, ordering, delivery tracking)
• Ensure safety requirements and site procedures are adhered to

Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field
• 5 years of relevant experience in:

- Electrical / M&E projects
- Cabling, wiring, installation
- Technician, Assistant Engineer, or Site Coordinator roles

• Basic understanding of electrical systems (cabling, LV, wiring, panels) training will be provided
• Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable interacting with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Able to read or willing to learn to read electrical drawings
• Willing to travel to site occasionally (within Singapore)
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage multiple tasks

Good to Have:

• Experience in structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, data centres, or electrical installation
• Experience supporting project documentation, scheduling, or vendor management
• Knowledge of safety procedures (Permit to Work, site safety)
