Our diverse workforce of 13,000 has delivered large-scale, mission-critical, and multi-platform projects for governments and enterprises in Singapore and the APAC region.As a Project Director / Delivery Lead (Engineering), you will be responsible for leading, overseeing, managing and implementing multiple IT/ Engineering projects with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.You will also manage a project team across different functional areas and lead pre-sale activities to responding to tenders; managing staff\xe2\x80\x99s performance, feedback and morale; taking ownership of staff\xe2\x80\x99s project assignments; taking full accountability of projects\xe2\x80\x99 development milestones and project financials.What will you do?Project & Service ManagementReview the project lifecycle (initiation, plan, execution, completion)Review project schedules, quality plans, budgets, and communication and risk management plansManage issues arising out of scope definition and disputes that impacted scope, schedule and costManage issues arising from integration of various components of the project, e.g. hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, migration and data conversion etc.Manage project financials, ensuring project cost/ revenue forecast is done accuratelyOversee the implementation of the project with regard to schedules, budget, manpower and qualityResolve project overrun issuesMonitor and report on project management progress to Senior Management and CustomerManage resources in terms of mobilising resources during different periods of time from team to team to maximise productivity or minimise wastageLead the project and service team on smooth project transition to operation in accordance to customer requirement and processes.Manage project operation and ensure service level is maintained without financial penalty and security incident due to negligent or lack of awarenessCustomer/Vendor/ Stakeholder ManagementManage contracts and subcontractorsEffectively engaged stakeholders in project decisions and executionBuild long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectationNegotiate with customers on change control mechanism to meet schedules and prioritize changes based on business needsBusiness DevelopmentProactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to the customer and liaise with the Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunityParticipate in tenders and contribute to tender proposal, provide inputs in project delivery effort, risks and review compliance to tender requirementBe involved in pre-sale activities and provide leadership to the project team to ensure that proposals/ enhancements are fully analysed and evaluated for benefits and costTeam ManagementParticipate in leadership activities and providing performance feedback and developmental coachingMonitor and improve team performance, conduct team building, providing leadership, coaching, and performance managementBuild, lead and motivate a high performing team with innovative cultureLead, guide, manage and motivate the projects\xe2\x80\x99 team members in delivering quality project works, eliminating project exceptions and delighting the customersPlan for optimal use of resources across teams comprising of Project and Technical competenciesManage performance review of team and maintain open communication with team for feedback on continuous improvementPlan and develop team members to achieve their individual career development planEnsure high individual and staff billabilityThe ideal candidate should possess:More than 15 years of project management experienceExperience in managing projects in defence, homeland security and public sector are highly encouraged to apply.Self-motivated with a positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniquesAbility to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationshipFlexibility to travel as and when requiredDegree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent[Singaporeans only]We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs\xe2\x80\x94Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity\xe2\x80\x94and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
