Job Description

The Project Director (Senior) , based out of Singapore and Phnom Penh, will support the Owner-Developer and be responsible for leading and comprehensively managing the entire project team across all stages of the tender award and execution of a sizeable mixed residential and commercial development, according to the designs, specifications and schedules already completed.

Responsibilties:

• Lead and manage the entire project team for mixed residential and commercial development including infrastructure in Cambodia.
  

• Oversee contracts administration, project programme and project implementation, and actively engage internal and external stakeholders and manage the consultants, building contractors, local authorities, etc.
  

• Manage various stages and all aspects of project management including but not limited to planning, design management, procurement, and construction of the development projects from inception to completion and handover.
  

• Prepare contractual and tender documents for review, approval and submission.
  

• Proficiently manage tender process and procurement activities, including all sub and direct tenders/ contracts.
  

• Comply with relevant regulatory and legislative prerequisites in preparation for project execution.
  

• Plan, control and manage design works and changes to secure company interest.
  

• Manage and collect data for project progress reporting and benchmarking.
  

• Oversee management of the project filing system.
  

• Evaluation of contractor claims, variations, delay and extension of time.
  

• Follow established quality control policies, processes and procedures.
  

• Coordinate and manage site team and project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities) effectively to ensure the project is completed in compliance with the specifications, quality standards, cost and time frame.
  

• Ensure that all safety regulatory requirements and guidelines are adhered to and are in accordance with the proper governing authorities including the safety regulators and government laws.
  

• Coordination and manage project completion documents for approval and submission in compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
  

• Manage the project handover and defects management process.
  

• Work with the sales and marketing team to contribute to formulation of sales strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  

• Manage and execute other duties and responsibilities from time to time as assigned by the company.
  

• Minimum Degree in Project Management, Architecture or its equivalent.
  

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience overseeing residential and commercial development projects, proven track record of completing full cycle of 02 projects.
  

• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead members of the project team to deliver outstanding product standards.
  

• Singapore and Overseas project experiences would be advantageous.
  

• Ability and willingness to travel is a must.
  

• Very good administration skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Able to work independently with good attitude.
  

• Proficient with the forms of contracts, i.e., FIDIC, SIA and REDAS.
  

• Understanding of sustainability standards and green building designs will be a plus.
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). MS Project will be a plus.
