Develop, design, and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Conduct process simulations and tests to evaluate the feasibility of new processes.
Provide maintenance and come up with a maintenance schedule for machines, jigs and fixtures.
Identify and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure project success.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all processes and projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Conduct time study to get UPH
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or project management
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is preferred.
PMP certification is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
