Project Engineer (automation & Controls System)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians in delivering control system solutions for various industrial applications.
Oversee the design and development of electrical panels, control system architecture, and wiring schematics.
Prepare and maintain process documentation such as P&IDs and related technical drawings.
Develop and configure control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems (DCS), and related automation software.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical support and maintenance for control system installations, both locally and overseas.
Requirements:
Strong foundation in electrical design principles and process control fundamentals
Familiar with control systems such as PLC, DCS, DDC, or PC-based automation platforms
Working knowledge of automation platforms (e.g. Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Emerson, etc.)
Proficient in programming and configuration of PLCs
Experience with HMI/SCADA software such as Wonderware, Intellution, or OSIsoft is an advantage
Knowledge of common programming languages (e.g. C#, Python, C++) and networking fundamentals
