Job Description

1. Job PurposeTo plan and coordinate activities in a given project, including project scheduling, budgeting, manpower and logistic planning; and to oversee implementation of the assigned project according to contract, budget, and schedules.2. Key Responsibilities2.1. Ensures receipt of the complete and approved documents and endorsements, i.e., contracts, purchase orders, bill of materials, floor plans, among others from the Sales and Marketing Department as references in planning activities.2.2. Responds and participate actively in the kick-off meeting as initiated by the Sales and Marketing Department.2.3. Conducts site inspection to validate floorplans, and cost estimates for budget approval.2.4. Plans for the project schedule using the MS Project application, and the budget according to the terms of agreement with the client.2.5. Identifies and organizes the appropriate number of personnel that are needed in the project.2.6. Evaluates and selects the need for outsourced services, and agrees with them the terms and conditions.2.7. Identifies the materials specifications and coordinate with Purchasing Department for their timely procurement.2.8. Ensures availability and efficiency of tools and equipment that are needed in project implementation.2.9. Examines and test equipment and materials as against the materials request prior to receipt, and coordinates promptly any discrepancy.2.10. Oversees the timely mobilization of equipment and materials for the project.2.11. Prepares and facilitates with the client or general contractor the requirements/permits for mobilization with various phases of the project, such as roughing-in and cable pulling.2.12. Participates actively in both technical and management meetings with the clients and general contractors.2.13. Initiates/participates in the toolbox meeting, and ensures that the project team conforms to the safety requirements while at the project site.2.14. Provides direction on the project schedules, and oversees progress of project implementation.2.15. Coordinates and gets advises from Sales and Marketing Department for other concerns that may not be included in the agreement such as revision of designs or materials. Provides sound technical inputs for these revisions2.16. Ensures proper control of all documents pertaining to a project.2.17. Ensure proper use of tools and equipment, safekeeping, and return to the warehouse.2.18. Consults the immediate superior for problem areas and updates of the overall project status on a regular basis.2.19. Provides information and responds to project related queries and concerns of the clients.2.20. Provides inputs on the progress of implementation as reference of Accounting Department for billing purposes.2.21. Endorses the project to the Engineering Services Department for testing and commissioning.2.22. Undertakes timely corrective actions for any findings /punch list in the project.2.23. Prepares and endorses as-built plans and other documents (manuals, photos) during the project handover, and facilitates project acceptance.2.24. Performs other tasks that may be required by the immediate superiors.3. Minimum Qualifications Education : College graduate in Engineering preferablyElectronics or Electrical Experience : At least three (3) years of experiencein the same field of work preferably gained from construction or related industry; orgraduate of related technical/vocational course with at least five (05) years of directly-related experience.4.
