DESIGNATION : Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer



RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview

We are seeking a

dynamic and motivated Project Engineer

to join our team. This role is open to candidates from

Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering disciplines

, ranging from

fresh graduates to mid-career professionals

. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

project management

, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience in the

power plant industry

or large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

+ Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover. + Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
+ Liaising/ collaborating with Local Authorities and Regulators in the consultations, submissions, and securing the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.
+ Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
+ Provide progress updates to leadership.

Technical Support:

+ Prepare project technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and liaise with vendors and contractors. + Conduct site inspections and oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

Compliance & Documentation:

+ Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements. + Ensure contractors fulfil statutory obligations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
+ Prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and support audits.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.



QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. + Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 5-8 years

power plant or industrial project experience

will have an advantage.





OTHER INFORMATION

Skills:

+ Strong project management and organizational skills. + Proficient in MS Office and familiar with modern engineering software/tools.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, covering both

site-based and desk-bound tasks

+ Good knowledge of

Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice

, and statutory requirements.
