Knowledge of audio visual system components, including video projectors, sound systems, video walls, and control systems.
Familiarity with audio visual system design software, such as AutoCAD or Visio.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers to determine project requirements and specifications for audio visual systems.
Design and develop audio visual system schematics, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
Oversee installation of audio visual systems, including equipment placement, cabling, and integration with other systems.
Ensure that all audio visual systems meet industry standards and project requirements.
Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to identify and resolve any issues.
Provide technical support to clients, including training on system operation and maintenance.
Create and maintain project documentation, including system manuals, as-built drawings, and testing reports.
Work with technicians to schedule and perform regular system maintenance, including firmware updates, software upgrades, and hardware replacements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for audio visual system design and installation.
