Job Description
PROJECT ENGINEER (M&E FACILITY MAINTENANCE)
Key responsibilities for this role include, organising, scheduling and supervising of maintenance of Building M&E facilities in building, including Building Automation System.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day management of the contract;
- Ensure that work safety standards are maintained;
- Ensure the quality of work carried out are in conformance to specifications;
- Organise manpower resources to achieve maintenance schedule, including improving existing work methods;
- Attend to interfacing works relating to routine testing of specialised systems;
- Liaise with client’s representative on safety, work quality, work schedule, requests for improvement works;
- Prepare quotations for improvement works;
- Attend coordination and project meetings; and
- Other duties as and when assigned.
- Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering with 5-year experience; or
- ITE in Electrical/Building Automation System with 10-year experience in Electrical or Building Automation Systems;
- Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination would be an advantage; and
- Desire to learn and gain skills/knowledge in MEP systems
