Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Materials quantity take off , Drafting works if necessary
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes of practices, performance standards and contract specifications
• Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements
• Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status to Project manager
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Support other team members as needed to ensure the success of the project and company.
• Prepare and ensure that all safety plan are met and approved

• Proven experience as Project Manager
• Outstanding communications and negotiation skills
• Able to use Microsoft office , microsoft project , autocadand other engineering softwares skillfully.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Advances time management and analytical skills
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Nngineering disciplines
• Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience for marine construction project
• Contract basis
• 5.5 days; workweek
• Worksite location: Project site located at Tuas (may need to travel to multiple locations)
