:

Working location is at Jurong Island

A key member in the Special Projects Department, you will be responsible for the feasibility studies, planning and coordination of projects assigned and follow through until completion. Liaising with Local Regulators, Authorities and Vendors to support on the projects assigned is required, including the preparation of specifications, calling of contracts, evaluation and work execution, including commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from feasibility study stage to follow ups on the execution stage
• Liaise with Local Regulators, Authorities and vendors to support the viability of the projects
• Evaluate viability of projects and make recommendations
• Prepare specifications, call and evaluate contracts, carry out clarification and negotiations with vendors and prepare for award.
• Study, evaluate and implement plant improvement projects to enhance existing overall plant reliability, availability and performance
• Study, evaluate and recommend latest and any new technologies from the global power industry market relevant to enhance our business.
• Track the expenditure against the approved department budget
• Prepare Departments business plans and KPIs
• Support other members of the Department to ensure projects are coordinated, executed and completed on schedule.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree (Electrical) from a University recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• 3 to 5 years of experience in major industrial project management or equivalent, preferably in Power Plant and/or Oil and Gas Process Industry and with some experience in Renewal Energy and Mechanical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Code Of Practices, Singapore Standards and statutory requirement will be an advantage.
• Strong interest and knowledge in latest technologies, applications and changes in power industries, such as renewable energy
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with good organisational and management skills
