The job scope includes: 1. Attend clients: responsible for communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences. This can involve presenting design options and making adjustments based on feedback. 2. Managing projects: be responsible for managing projects from start to finish. This can involve working with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. 3. Researching materials and technology: have knowledge of different materials such as wood, metal, and plastic, and how they can be used to create furniture, and be familiar with 3D design software and computer-aided design (CAD) software. 4. sketching and drafting: start with rough sketches and then move on to more detailed drawings, able to use software programs such as CAD to create detailed and accurate blueprints of the designs. 5. Collaborating with other team members: work closely with other team members, such as carpenters and upholsterers, to bring their designs to life, working together to solve problems and make adjustments to designs as needed. 6. Communicating with clients and manufacturers: Communicating their ideas clearly to clients and manufacturers, must be able to explain the design concepts and technical specifications of their designs. Site visit including travel overseas, Site activity, and Site management is required. 7. Collaborating with other professionals: to work with other professionals such as architects, interior designers, contractors and project managers, workers, to ensure that their designs fit within a project. 8. Keeping up with industry software technology: learn about woodworking software, 3D laser scanning, etc, and apply it to company workflow, and to create IPORT woodworking workflow. 9. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
