Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Engineer to join our team in serving our clients in their ELV system projects. The candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to the Project team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in security solutions, including CCTV and access control systems. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure the successful execution of projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support:
a. Collaborate with the Project team to understand project goals, scope and requirements.
b. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
c. Contribute to the development, monitoring and implementation of project plans. 2. Technical Expertise
a. Demonstrate familiarity with security solutions, including security platforms, CCTV and access control systems.
b. Evaluate and recommend security technologies that align with project requirements. 3. Technical Implementation:
a. Oversee the installation of security systems.
b. Collaborate and manage sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of security solutions.
c. Perform configuration, testing and commissioning of security systems, such as CCTV and Access Control.
d. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions. 4. Quality Assurance:
a. Implement quality control measures to ensure reliability and effectiveness of security systems.
b. Conduct thorough testing to verify installation meets project requirements. 5. Documentation:
a. Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings and manuals.
b. Ensure all project-related documentation are accurate, organized and accessible. Job Competencies:
1. Strong technical background in security solutions (CCTV and access control)
2. Familiar with relevant CCTV and Access Control software and hardware technologies
3. Able to analyse project requirements and provide effective technical solutions
4. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during project implementation
5. Good verbal and written communication skills
6. Experience in project management
7. Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
8. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Education and Experience:
\xc2\xb7 Diploma or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a project engineering role, particularly in security solutions, is preferred.
