Job Description

You will be at the heart of things both within Berg Propulsion and interacting with shipyards, ship owners, naval consultants and suppliers. You are passionate about serving the customer and you are inspired by solving technical and commercial challenges. Other key elements of the job include:

• Ability to review, coordinate and prepare project documentation and design drawings.
• Prepare & manage all order documentation in accordance with scope of supply, delivery schedule and terms and conditions as agreed in the contractual documentation.
• Responsible to execute orders from contract award to completed commissioning/handover.
• Coordinate between customers, ship designers, sub-suppliers, classification societies, and our production.
• Interact and co-ordinate with other internal departments and external suppliers such as sales teams, engineering team, core competence group, contract, custom design, production, class societies, and sub-suppliers etc.
• Support the sales team in providing technical and commercial proposals.

Requirements

• Prior experience of project management/project coordination in the maritime segment. (3-5 years min)
• Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture (preferred).
• Knowledge of marine propulsion systems, shipsbuilding practices and hydrodynamics (preferred).
• Enthusiastic and a positive team contributor.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple aspects of ongoing project related activities.
• Fully able to work with MS Office software, AutoCad and Solid Works.
