Position Title: Project Engineer
Description Project Engineers provide leadership for assigned project(s), and ensure successful completion of the assigned project(s) as per Project Objectives and Strategies, functional scope and appropriation requirements. Project Engineers coordinate with various stakeholders and are expected to leverage the functional expertise of the organization (e.g. cost, schedule & controls engineers, SSHE engineers, etc.) to ensure that the project meets all safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

• Lead implementation (or play a key role in verifying and validating implementation) of safety processes and procedures that ensure Project Safety Plan and existing site SSHE expectations are met during project execution
• Engage in execution plans, SSHE Plan (if applicable) and contracting / procurement strategies development and implementation
• Monitor and appraise Contractor(s)' organization, planning, execution and controls, and drives improvement plans to close gaps in performance
• Coordinates and directs project, functional, business, manufacturing and other functional support to ensure timely completion of reviews, resolution of technical queries and required actions.
• Identifies project issues and executes/stewards appropriate actions to resolution.
• Supports the transition between project stages, ensuring compliance with ExxonMobil standards and processes.
• Supports procurement activities, including in some cases, materials requisitioning and expediting
• Responsible for contractor administration activities e.g. review of contracts and to support the preparation and negotiation of contracts
• Responsible for project close-out and turnover to the operational organization
• Accountable for performance of project and alignment with local and global processes

Job Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in Engineering from a recognized university
• Relevant experience preferred.

• Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
